Exams/Tests


Overview:

This section will help you in conducting tests, marking the tests given by the students,checking various statistics for the exam taken by the student.


Creating an Exam:

  1. Select the Exams/Tests option present on the bottom left hand side of the screen.

  2. Click on the Add New option present on the right hand side of the screen.

  3. A page with following fields opens up.

Mention the name of the Exam.

Total marks

Mention the total marks for the exam.

Date

Yes

Mention the date on which the exam to be conducted.

Start time

Mention the start time for the exam

End Time

Yes

Mention the end time for the exam

Select Branch

Yes

Mention the Branch for which the Exam should be assigned.

Batch

Yes

Mention the batch for which the exam is to be scheduled.    

Invigilator

Yes

Mention the name of the Invigilator for the exam.

  1. Click on Save, the test will be created.

  2. Click on Save & Prepare Question Bank, to create the test and add Questions for the same.


View Created Exams:

Access to view the exams created before is provided, where all the exams are listed.

  1. Select the Exams/Tests option present on the bottom left hand side of the screen.

Field

Description

Exam Date

Displays the Date and time of the exam

Exam Name

Displays the name of the exam

Batch Name

Displays the name of the batch for which the exam has been created.

Total Marks

Displays the Total marks for the particular exam.

Status

Used to specify the respective teachers sign in for the particular Exam.

Signed In-Teacher has signed in for the exam

Not Signed In-Teacher has not yet signed in for the exam.

Attendance

Displays the attendance of the student for the exam.

Notes

Displays the Topics, if any updated by the teacher during the SignIn.

Marks List

Opens the Marks List for all the student, who gave the exam

View Attendance

Displays the attendance of the students for the particular class.



Marks List:

This gives an overview of the marks obtained by the student for the particular exam, option for editing the marks as well as updating the same.

  1. Select the Exams/Tests option present on the bottom left hand side of the screen.

  2. Select the Marks List for the particular exam.

Field

Description

Batches

Displays the name of the batches for which the exam was created.

Teacher

Name of the teacher who was assigned for the exam.

Exam Date

Displays the date on which the exam was scheduled.

Exam Time

Displays the time on which the exam was scheduled.

Name

Displays the name of the student for whom the exam was scheduled.

Marks Obtained

Mentions the marks obtained by the students

Rank

Displays the Rank as per the marks obtained

Grade

Displays the Grades for the student in %



Notify Result:

This section will assist in notifying the concerned person for a particular exam as per the SMS settings.

  1. Select the Exams/Tests option present on the bottom left hand side of the screen.

  2. Select the Marks List for the exam where notification is to be sent.

  3. Click on Notify Result present on the bottom of the screen.

  4. Select OK/Cancel for the dialogue box as per requirement.


Edit Marks:

This section will assist in editing marks obtained by the student or updating the marks for the particular batch.

  1. Select the Exams/Tests option present on the bottom left hand side of the screen.

  2. Select the Marks List for the exam where notification is to be sent.

  3. Click on Edit Marks present on the bottom right of the screen.

  4. Make the necessary marks update as per requirement.

  5. Click on Save Marks to update the changes made.


Statistics:

This section helps in viewing the statistics for the exam selected.

  1. Select the Exams/Tests option present on the bottom left hand side of the screen.

  2. Select the Marks List for the exam where notification is to be sent.

  3. Click on Show Stats present on the top right hand side of the screen

  4. Click on Hide Stats to hide the stats from the screen.

Field

Description

Average Attempts

Number of times each student attempted the exam on an average.

Average grade

Displays the average grade of the student in the batch

Highest grade

Displays the highest grade for the batch

Lowest Grade

Displays the lowest grade for the batch
