Inventory
Overview:
This section helps in adding Inventory for the institute and can be used while enrolling a student to the institute.
Categories
Add New Category:
Click on Inventory option present on the bottom left corner.
Select categories present besides Item.
Click on the Add New Category button present on the right.
Mention the name of the category.
Select the status either as Active/Inactive.
Enter any particular description for the same.
Click on the Create button.
Edit Category:
Click on Inventory option present on the bottom left corner.
Select categories present besides Item.
Click on the edit button present on the right hand side of the category,editing is required.
Make the necessary changes and click Update to save the changes.
Items:
Add New Item:
Click on Inventory option present on the bottom left corner.
Select Items present beside Branch Inventory.
Click on the Add New Item.
Field | Description |
Name | Mention the name of the Item. |
Category | Mention the category to which this Item should belong to |
Description | Add a description for the Item. |
Sell Price | Mention the sell price for the particular item for the respective branch. |
Buy Price | Mention the Buying price for the particular item for the respective branch. |
Item Available | Mention the number of items available. |
Low Stock Count | Mention the minimum count that should be available. |
Status | Edit the status to be either Active/Inactive. |
Click on Create to get the same updated.
Edit New Item:
Click on Inventory option present on the bottom left corner.
Select Items present beside Branch Inventory.
Click on the Edit option present on the right hand side of particular Item where Edit needs to be done.
Make the necessary changes and click on Update.
Branch Inventory:
This list displays all the Items with the necessary fields.
Click on Inventory option present on the bottom left corner.
Click on Add/Remove option to update the count for the particular Item.
Field | Description |
Date | Mention the date of either purchase or removal of the item. |
Mode | Mention if you want Buy or Destroy, the particular Item. |
Quantity | Mention the quantity that should needs to be bought or removed. |
Note | Mention a particular Note for the purchase. |
Marking for the inventories returned:
Go to the student profile, by clicking on the Student section present on the left of the screen.
Search for the student whose inventory needs to be collected.
Under the students profile, select Inventory List.
Click on Return for the Item that has been returned on the student’s end.
Mention the Date of returning the item.
Mention the quantity returned by the student.
Mention any Note if required and click on Return to update the same.
